Q&A

QandA.jpg

Q: Are you a Singles ministry?
A: No, we are focused on this generation. EVERYONE is welcome; whether single, married, engaged, divorced, with kids or without.

Q: I’m not in my 20’s.  Can I still come?
A: Sure, we don’t card at the door!  Our music & message is focused towards those 18-30, but whoever is drawn to what is going on at Fusion is welcome.

Q: Is there food at Fusion?
A: Come get your grub on!  We always have pizza, Chick-Fil-A or some kind of vittles floating around.  Don’t worry about grabbing drive through!

Q: How can I get to know people at Fusion?
A: There are tons of way to get to know people at Fusion. Go in the VIP room after Fusion, tag along with people going out to eat after service, or get involved in an area serving on a Wednesday night. Or maybe connect with a Fusion Community!

Q: How do I get involved in serving?
A: We have lots of teams within FUSION that you can get involved with.  Some of these are greeters, dance, bookstore, ushers, production team, children's ministry, video team, cafe team & pre-service prayer.  Get more info at any Fusion service or click here to get more info!  You can also contact us!

Q: Do you have events outside of Wednesday night?
A: All the time!  We generally have a Fusion-wide event per month where we gather together to do crazy stuff like sky diving, bowling, camping or going to a Braves game!  Stay in the loop and get added to our email list to keep in touch.

Q: Do you have any outlets for social justice/outreach?
A: Absolutely!  We regularly do outreaches to the local community, primarily through our Fusion Community groups.  But larger than "doing" outreaches, it's our heart that we would become people who, like Christ, live in outreach; giving our lives to the poor, the hurting, the dirty and the dying...to those living in those conditions both physically and spiritually.

Q: Do you have child care during the Fusion service?
A: Absolutely! But get this, it's not child care...it's children's ministry! We have dedicated volunteers in the room, ministering to your children. So whether you are a single mom/dad or a couple with kids, bring 'em on out!

Q: How do I become a member of Fusion?
A: Fusion is a ministry of Victory World Church, it’s not a church in and of itself...therefore we don't have membership.  We encourage you to plug into a local group of believers who are growing in a relationship with Jesus Christ.  If you are looking for a church, check out Victory World Church in Norcross.  At Fusion, we believe in moving people from believer to disciple to leader and the highest level of involvement in Fusion is being a leader who is giving back & being an example to their generation.

Q: Why do you do Fusion?  Can’t people just go to church?
A: We definitely encourage people to go to their local church.  But at the same time, we believe in giving a relevant message & relevant music to this 20’s generation, especially the “unchurched”, so they can encounter God in a way that makes sense.  Fusion is a place where many people will come to who wouldn't go to a traditional church.  It seems like most churches have something for pre-school, elementary, Jr. High, High School, parents with kids, retired people & old folks…but nothing for people in their 20’s.  We don’t believe that is right.  This generation is valuable to God…and God wants to use Fusion to reach it.

Q: What do you believe?
A: We hold tightly to the teachings of Jesus as recorded by the apostles who penned the gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. In addition, the scriptures arranged in the Bible are the truth which we base our lives around.  For a full low-down on what we believe, click here.
