Closer

Prayer. Boring - Dull - Sleep - Pointless - God up there & me down here - Formulas - King James English - Yeesh! I really don't think prayer's supposed to look like what we think it's supposed to look like. Because when I hear Jesus talk about prayer & I see the heroes of the faith pray & I read God urging me to pray - that's not boring, dull, or formulaic. In fact, He says that if we draw near to Him then He'll draw near to us. I want that. I want God to be... closer. I know you do too - even if it does seem impossible at times. Draw closer to God & experience the thrill as He draws near to you.

UnNormal

It's easy to forget how Jesus said His followers would actually live and what their new lifestyle would actually look like. They would, He said, leave behind security, money, convenience, and even family for him. They would abandon everything for the gospel. They would take up their crosses daily. They would be anything but normal. However, somewhere along the line we’ve become normal, average, and ordinary… and the truth is that normal just isn’t working. It's time to break free from the norm to lead a radically unNORMAL (and incredibly more fulfilling) life!

Take Back the Future

The good news is that even though the future may not look all that bright, the future is not set in stone and we have been given a charge and the power to make a difference! From combating abortion & divorce to simply speaking to a co-worker to starting a movement or giving someone a hug, God wants to use you in the small & large things of life to make His Will a reality on earth.
There are many who would create the future for evil. Where are those who will create the future for good? Create a different future. The time is now.
